Nick Coetzee always had a fascination with how the human body worked. This prompted him to pursue a degree in Biokinetics after he graduated from high school. However, it was only after he delved into his profession that he realized that the traditional theories of health were not enough to give a comprehensive view of the body's overall well-being.

Nick began his career as a biokineticist, working with clients to develop exercise and diet plans, but he soon realized that an essential piece was missing from their routines: light. He saw that most of his clients faced issues related to sleep, energy, and recovery. This made him curious about how something as simple as light could help.

As Nick began to experiment with the impact of light on the human body, he found that increasing natural light exposure, especially in the early morning hours, helped his clients significantly. He witnessed his clients become more energized, recover faster from workouts, and sleep better.

This insight inspired Nick to create Mychondria, a red light therapy company, to help people reconnect with the primal vitality that natural light provides.

Though red light therapy had been studied, there was a gap in the market for home red light therapy devices that could deliver the same results seen in scientific studies. Most products on the market were disappointing, and consumers were left with nothing but a party light.

Nick’s years of research coupled with new LED technology led to the creation of MyLight devices. These devices promise to deliver miraculous results to people's health. Combining his knowledge of the human body with the fascinating powers of light therapy, Nick built a company that helps people become their best selves. Nick’s innovative contribution to the industry has helped many people see the benefits of red light therapy.
