What on earth is biohacking?!
You've probably heard the term before, and maybe even use some of the practices already, but today you'll learn about the specifics:
Biohacking is simply described as “do-it-yourself-biology”. In general it means making lifestyle changes to improve your health and overall wellbeing.
There are also different types of biohacking. The three most popular types are:

2. DIY Biology
This type of biohacking is what you'll see across most of social media.
It involves evidence-based practices, such as ice baths, meditation, breathing techniques, and of course red light therapy.
It uses a combination of scientific studies, as well as community reports, to determine the best 'hacks' you can use to optimise your health and performance.

3. Grinder
This subculture of biohacking believes that every part of the body is hackable.

These hackers often use methods which are quite extreme. For example, Grinder biohackers have been found inserting sound-enhancing magnets into their ears to have built-in headphones.

Posture - The 'right now' biohack
This is possibly one of the most important, as well as the easiest way to biohack your life.
Your posture affects your physiology, or as Tony Robbins puts it, "Motion creates emotion."
Walk for 5 minutes with your chest open, shoulders back, and a tall posture, and you'll quickly see how your mood and confidence improve.
Meditation - The focus biohack
Meditation allows you to observe your emotions and thoughts – preventing an emotional reaction to a negative or stressful situation.
This can prevent you from making rash decisions in your day-to-day life.
Simply sit in a quiet space for 10-minutes and bring your attention to the present moment. Once you have quietened your mind, watch for any negative emotions or thoughts that come up. Recognise that they are NOT you, and you can simply observe them.
